Wellmaster Equips Popup Grocery Projects
COVID-19 is forcing businesses and community organization to rethink how products can be distributed safely. For an increasing number, Wellmaster carts and racks are providing a ready solution.
“Wellmaster has always enjoyed working with our partners to deliver flexible high value solutions for their operations,” said James White, Senior Manager Business Development. “It is particularly rewarding to see our customers and community organizations use our products to support food access at local farm operations.”
The Delhi and District Chamber of Commerce and Wilkinson’s Independent developed the Help Norfarms food distribution project and asked Wellmaster to help equip the facility. Wellmaster worked with Jim Norman and his team at the Chamber to identify what they needed and delivered the six Rhino Carts, two Red Garden Wagons and ten Transportation Carts to get Help Norfarms project up and running. More information about Help Norfarms can be found here.
In addition, the May issue of The Grower features Helen Zamenik’s pop-up grocery store at EZ Grow Farms in Langton. Dubbed “Helen’s Convenience” the on-farm groceria makes use of Wellmaster Transportation Carts delivered to EZ Grow Farms earlier this year. The May issue of The Grower can be found here, with the article “Pandemic Pivots: Packing shed is transformed into groceria for on-farm shopping” appearing on page seven.
