Wellmaster Celebrates Manufacturing Day
Manufacturing Day, held on October 1, focuses on the Ontario government’s commitment to manufacturers, their employees, and ensuring that the province maintains its status as the economic engine of Canada.
The day held in partnership with Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) kicks off an entire month of activities to celebrate all Ontario-based manufacturers. There will be a specific focus during the month on attracting more young people to lucrative career opportunities in manufacturing and strengthening supply chains in Ontario.
“A healthy manufacturing sector is critical to Ontario’s long-term economic prosperity. Manufacturing Day celebrates the very best of Ontario’s economy and encourages our next generation of workers to look to manufacturing as a viable and successful career option”, said Vic Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation, and Trade.
As part of CME’s Ontario Made program, Wellmaster is committed to promoting the manufacturing sector in the province. Wellmaster serves a wide range of industries, providing products that are designed and produced in the province.
