Rigorous lab and in-field tests were conducted in partnership with Lambton Water Research Centre and drillers in Florida and Ontario Canada to demonstrate Wellmaster Press x Press® coupling’s ability to provide equivalent quality casing connectivity when compared to threaded couplings or electrical welding methods. API certified non-destructive hydrotesting confirmed Press x Press® casing connections are watertight at various pressures up to casing maximum pressure tolerances. Certified laboratory pull testing confirmed that Press x Press® couplings met minimum strength requirements. Additionally, in-field driller testing identified that Press x Press® couplings provide a more resilient connection during installation and increase driller health and safety given the simplified installation process and significantly reduced casing installation time.
